Every site is different. Here’s how to know where to start:
If other companies are working alongside you, you’ll need to present the PSS or the DGP, and the Subcontracting Register.
Example: even if the client doesn’t ask for it, if you’re carrying out a refurbishment in an industrial building with various installation companies, you need this documentation.
If there are tasks like installations, painting, or masonry — or you’re working in a construction-like setting — you’ll need a DGP.
Example: you’re installing machinery in a factory.
You’ll need Business Activities Coordination (BAC). Don’t worry — Geseme handles it for you.
Example: electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians are working simultaneously. This is where BAC applies.
Example: you’re refurbishing offices → prior opening. Installing racks in a warehouse → 30 days.
Our services cover all preventive needs on site:
Construction, Metal Agreement, Special Risks (Working at Height, ATEX, Confined Spaces…)
If an accident occurs, the responsible party may face criminal prosecution, in addition to financial penalties.
Minimum of 8.000€ to 41.000€
Over 40.000€
The Health&Safety Plan (PSS) is mandatory for construction projects with a building plan, in accordance with Royal Decree 1627/1997.
The Preventive Management Document (DGP) is used for construction work without a building plan, such as installations or minor extensions.
If it involves building work, you must do this before you start. If it is not considered building work, you have 30 days from the start.
It is the main contractor who must ensure that an occupational health and safety officer is present on site when the nature of the work so requires.
Yes, if I am the organiser. In any case, if there is no coordinator, you will have to take on their duties. You take on the responsibilities.
Everything to do with occupational health and safety: training, medical clearances, insurance, permits, etc.
Geseme takes care of the Coordination of Business Activities (BAC) on your behalf.
Don’t worry. Contact us and we’ll let you know what you need and how to sort it out, with no obligation.
