Information Security Policy
GESEME Management, being aware of the importance of good information security management for its business and customer satisfaction, has a Security Management System according to ISO-27001.
GESEME recognizes the importance of protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, preventing the loss, disclosure, modification and unauthorized use of all information, including personal data, for which reason it is committed to developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improve the MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
Therefore, GESEME offers a secure environment where access to information is exclusive to authorized persons, the information is available and its integrity is guaranteed.
The information security policy is applicable to all the functionalities of the system offered to our clients.
GESEME Managment is responsible for:
- Ensure that information security is properly managed throughout the organization.
- Guarantee Privacy and the exercise of the rights of the interested parties.
- Periodically establish objectives on the management of Information Security, and the actions necessary for its development.
- Establish the risk analysis system, evaluating the impact and threats.
- Implement the necessary actions to reduce the identified risks that are considered unacceptable, according to the criteria established by the Safety Committee.
- Apply the necessary controls and their corresponding monitoring methods.
- Comply with the requirements assumed by GESEME, legal, regulatory, client, PII owners and contractual security obligations.
- Guarantee each Client and the owners of PII's that their information will be processed in accordance with the fundamental requirements of confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Promote awareness and training in Information Security and Privacy for all GESEME staff.
- Provide the necessary resources to guarantee the continuity of the company's business.
The Information Security Manager is responsible for:
- The maintenance of this policy.
- Advising the Management and providing specialized security support to the organization's staff.
Due to the continuous evolution and intrinsic changes of the information systems and the complexity of the organization, the information security policy will be reviewed annually or whenever there are significant changes in the applicable regulations, in order to ensure that its validity, suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness are maintained.
The Information Security Policy will be always adapted to the current provisions regarding the privacy of personal data at national, international, and European level and to the standards and best practices of Information Security adopted by GESEME.
Provided by the Committee, this Information Security Policy may be communicated to interested parties, and in particular to customers and suppliers, in order to involve them in the continuous improvement of the system.
